The Scottish Saltires are undergoing something of a transformation, long serving players such as Gavin Hamilton, John Blain, Colin Smith and more recently Douglas Lockhart have retired from the international game, and leave the team in the capable hands of Gordon Drummond.
A recent innovation, with a regional 20 over tournament is designed to improve how flexible Scottish cricketers are, in order that the opportunity to play in World Cups, no matter what the format are always there.
